FC 24: Most players happy with Black Friday event?

EA FC 24 hasn't always been well-received by the community since its release. However, Ultimate Team's "Black Friday" event seems to be well received by fans.
EA FC 24 Ultimate Team Edition celebrates Black Friday in style. This mode delivers a ton of content around Black Friday, including Thunderbolts promotions, the best events, new promo packs in the store, and more. The developer has also added special his SBCs such as Frenkie de Jong and Kenny Dalglish, including Thunderball cards.
The selection of players announced alongside the 'Thunder Strike' promotion is particularly impressive, with the likes of Ronaldinho, Kaka, Puskas, and Thierry Henry all included in the pack. One player said that for just 30 gold coins he bought two Thunder Fighter icon cards.
All of this encourages players to join Ultimate Team to earn these cards. There was a palpable buzz within the community around Black Friday, indicating the success of EA Sports' campaign.
Some EA FC 24 players praise the developer's efforts. "This is one of the best promotions in FUT history," said the "EA FC 24 News'' account.
Many users felt the same way in their replies, with one user saying, "Best promo in years, probably since the original Futties." Another netizen said, "The fact that we can actually get big-name players like Hamp, Lukaku, and Musiala makes me feel even better. W EA."
Although everyone was positive, some expressed dissatisfaction with the weight of the backpack in the promotional video. There were a lot of special cards on offer, but some players claimed they didn't receive any.
