Will Diablo 4 on PC have couch co-op?

In an interview with Eurogamer, Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson explained that they were unable to bring couch co-op to PC due to technical issues. According to Fergusson, logging into two Battle.net accounts on PC was difficult.
You can enable couch co-op for Diablo 4 on Xbox and PlayStation consoles by following these steps:
Start Diablo 4 on your console and activate the first player's controller.
Turn on the second player's Xbox/PlayStation controller.
