Diablo 4: Where is the Salt Begets Salt quest?

The Salt Begets Salt quest can be found in the Untamed Scar area of the Steppes region, just off the border with Kehjistan.
Jirandai is the closest signpost to this side quest, it's only a short walk from the teleportation point to Jargal, you have to speak to him to start this quest.
You'll receive cryptic instructions from Jagger to find his goat, Tuji, who will tell you that a jealous merchant has stolen his companion and is heading toward Karaisu.
How to Complete the Diablo 4 "The Salt Begets Salt" Quest
As you'd expect from the brief conversation with Jargal, the purpose of this quest is to find Tuji the goat, which is a lot harder than it sounds.
This is because Qara Yisu is a fortress that must be cleared to complete this side quest, though luckily once the fort is cleared it is easy to complete and it doesn't take too long until the quest is complete.
Below are the steps necessary to complete the "The Salt Begets Salt" quest in Diablo IV.
Head to Qara Yisu Stronghold in the southeast of the Steppes region.
Clear the Karaisu Fortress.
Find the dead body of Tuj the Goat in the ruins.
Interact with the corpse to get a quest item.
Bring the quest item back to Jagger and talk to him to complete the quest.
For your efforts, Jagger will hand you a salvage cache with some random rolling crafting materials, along with the usual honor, gold, and experience rewards.
