Diablo 4: How to Get Prime Gaming Reward for December 2023

Diablo 4 will be giving away the Burden of Death mount pack as a new Prime Gaming reward at the end of the year. From now until January 18th, Diablo 4 players with Amazon Prime can receive this mounting cosmetic for free.
Since this year, Blizzard has partnered with Amazon Prime to give away free game items every month. Diablo 4 is no exception, though Prime Gaming's rewards mostly skip the Battle Pass tiers. While this is useful, it's not particularly fun.
However, for the next month, players will be able to get their hands on exciting Diablo 4 cosmetic items through Prime Gaming. From now until January 18, 2024, players can get the Death's Burden mount set for free with the click of a button. This set includes three spooky Diablo 4 mount ornaments: Bonemail Vest, Morgan's Cage, and Mort's Trophy. Diablo Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher was one of the first to promote this new perk, announcing the news on his personal Twitter.
How to earn Prime Gaming Rewards
- Sign up for Amazon Prime or start a free trial (where available).
- Connect your Amazon Prime and Battle.net accounts.
- Request the Death's Burden bundle on the Diablo 4 Prime Gaming page.
- Log into Diablo 4 and visit the stables in any city to equip yourself with new cosmetics.
- To unlock the mount to use these cosmetics, the player must reach Act 4 of Diablo 4's main campaign.
The Death's Burden mount set was previously available for purchase from the in-game store for 800 Platinum (approximately $8 USD), which was significantly cheaper than some Diablo 4 mount sets. Currently, players can get this cosmetic for free if they subscribe to Amazon Prime or take advantage of the free trial. There appear to be no refunds or other rewards for players who purchased the Death's Burden mount set for platinum. So, unfortunately, it looks like those players are out of luck for the time being.
Blizzard fans can also browse giveaways for other favorite games from Prime Gaming. World of Warcraft is giving away the "Tabard of Fury transmog" from the defunct Warcraft TCG, and Overwatch 2 players can get the "Golfer: 76" skin. Additionally, Hearthstone fans can add random Epic cards to their collection. If you have an Amazon Prime subscription or are taking advantage of an Amazon Prime free trial during your holiday shopping, don't miss out on these freebies.
