Transfer FUT Points from FUT 23 to EA FC 24

When you start Ultimate Team, Clubs, or Volta Football for the first time, a pop-up will appear allowing you to transfer your FUT Points to EA FC 24. The same popup will appear with 3 options for transferring FUT Points:
1. Yes, I want to transfer and convert my entire Points balance from FUT 23 to FC 24
2. No, please leave my FUT 23 Points balance untouched
3. I am not sure at this point, please prompt me again later
This is the FUT Points transfer popup shown by the EA FC 24 developers.
According to a developer post on the EA Help support site, transferring FUT Points from FUT 23 to the new EA FC 24 should be easy and fast. However, there are two tips to consider before choosing any of the three options above.
Firstly, points can only be transferred from FUT 23 to EA FC 24 within the same console family. For example, you can transfer points from FUT 23 on Xbox Series X|S to EA FC 24, but you cannot transfer points from FUT 23 on Xbox Series X|S to EA FC 24 on PlayStation 5.
